New Year, New Start?
Hello and welcome to the website of Geneva Road Evangelical Baptist Church.
How are the New Year's resolutions going? Still going strong? A bit hit and miss? A distant memory? Didn't bother?
Most of us want to change the way we are in some way or other and New Year is a great time to make a change - a time to turn over a new leaf. The Bible speaks of a change that we all need. It's not a time to turn over a new leaf, it's a time to start a new life! This new life is offered freely to all who trust in Jesus, and this new life is not second best. In Jesus's own words, "... I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John chapter 10 verse 10)
The life that Jesus gives is a life of sins forgiven, and a life of knowing God.
